Offsite Day 6

11/22/2011
Start time: 9:30
End time: 5:00
Hours Worked: 7.5
Total Hours: 41.5

Between yesterday and today, I thought of some more data I should try to compile, so that was one of the main things that I did today.  I think this new set of data gives me some really interesting information about how Wikipedia aided me in subject cataloging.  I also read some articles, one of which I felt will help me a great deal, and found some new articles.  I also started thinking about how I'm going to structure the paper and started writing a little bit.

Offsite Day 5

11/21/2011
Start time: 9:30
End time: 5:30
Hours Worked: 8
Total Hours: 34

The main thing I did today was compile more data, some of it new, and compare it with data that I had compiled previously. I found some discrepancies between the two data sets and had to resolved them.  The data that I compiled was much more specific than the data I had compiled previously.  I also realized that one ETD I had cataloged had not been included within the previous data I had compiled, so I fixed the old data.  I also thought about how I was going to use the new data I had compiled, and if I needed to compile any more data.

Offsite Day 2

11/15/2011
Start time: 10:30
End time: 6:30
Hours Worked: 8
Total Hours: 15.5

I went back to Tech Services today to get the necessary information to compile data that I'm going to use for my paper.  After getting all the information and double-checking to make sure it was correct, I used my blog and my notes to compile the data of how often Wikipedia was helpful in subject cataloging.  I also thought about how I was going to include the fact that Lilly and Josh were also used as resources to help me find subject headings as well as other websites.
